Doggo abandoned on the highway during thunderstorm learns to wag her tail again after discovering the love of her new family who rescued her and taught her to trust again

Have you ever been trapped on a highway? We have. We were driving to New York, and one of our tires popped right as we entered a 6-lane bridge. We had to pull our car over to the tiniest little shoulder as cars zoomed past us, feeling every bump, brake, and vibration as hundreds of cars passed us. It was terrifying. And if it was terrifying for us, a hooman who understands what is going on, imagine how horrific it must be for a scared doggo who was abandoned there. In a thunderstorm. Could it get any worse?

Just when it seemed like this doggo had hit rock bottom, some kind souls pulled over to help her. She was soaking wet in the middle of a summer storm, but her rescuers were able to convince her to let them help. It took time, but she learned what happiness and trust were again through the love of her new family. It's just the wholesome video we needed to fill up our hearts today. Watch it below!

  • That poor baby is s-c-a-r-e-d. That low posture, ears pointed back, stiff body language, that dog is showing that it is scared with every tool it has. However, we're glad the doggo decided to let them help, that was the one decision that changed its life for the better!
